By popular demand we return with a single day retreat to warm you up as we head into the colder months! A day to immerse yourself in everything yoga from a traditional asana practice to pranayama, meditation, chanting, sound bath and fun inverting workshop.

 

If you would like a Sunday to take just for yourself, surround yourself with like-minded humans and enjoy some time away from your phones, this weekend is for you! We are in the community centre Darwin Hall in Lichfield all day with Vegan Lunch provided in price!

Handstand Workshop

Handstand Workshop

with Ben Lowrey

Ben’s workshop are honestly suited to all! We understand that going upside down can be a daunting thing and this is why we use Ben and his approach in our immersive weekends. They are fun and enthusiastic and fundamentally not about being able to handstand. The workshops are a way of taking ourselves out of our comfort zone and doing something new and different. Ben is kind and playful in his approach and helps anyone find that inverted position whether thats supported handstands, crow, headstands or free standing handstands. He talks about the fundamentals in upper body strength in handstanding and how we can work towards this fun practice. If you can already handstand, if you can’t – this workshop is for you!

If you have never tried this dynamic, physically demanding practice this will be a great place to start & if you are already a regular Ashtanga practitioner and wish to deepen your knowledge of the primary series, 90 mins of movement meditation to suit all.

Meditation & Pranayama (breath practice) are fundamental to your yoga practice. In this session you will learn the fundamentals of breathing techniques to help aid your well being and even your yoga asana practice. Meditation is something we all can do in everyday life, Rachel will teach you some simple but deeply powerful techniques you can take with you and use in your everyday life.

Cassie has been a musician and singer for 20 years. Her joy of teaching yoga, giving reiki and music come together in healing sound journeys. Her sound baths use crystal bowls, flute, drum, and voice. Each sound journey is unique for each person but you will get exactly what you need- relaxation, rejuvenation or simply just to feel peaceful and calm.

Kirtan is collective chanting. It is a form of devotional yoga also known as Bhakti Yoga. There are many different chants and most are very ancient and written in Sanskrit. As these chants are repeated over and over they contain a transformative powerand healing energy with the magical ability to connect to our hearts and Spirit.
